Felix Mago Miguel has designed more than 100 books since 1996 and has received four National Book Awards for Design from the National Book Development Board–Manila Critics Circle and five Gintong Aklat awards and citations from the Book Development Association of the Philippines. His book credits include ACCRA and the Post-bellum Bar, 1946-1969: Art After War, Garment of Honor/Garment of Identity, Fortress of Empire, 100 Events that Shaped the Philippines, Worship and Weave, Portraits of a Tangled Relationship: the Philippines and the United States, Rafflesia in the Philippines, XYZ: The Creativity of Jaime Zobel, Manila Galleon Trade: Crossing the Atlantic, To give and not to count the cost, and Lungsod Iskwater to name a few. The last two titles were winners at the 2012 National Book Awards and the Gintong Aklat Book Awards respectively.
Our clients include corporations, individuals, and institutions such as WWF, which published Sulu Sulawesi Seas in 2002 and with and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for The Coral Triangle in 2011, both books featuring the works of award-winning wildlife photographer Jürgen Freund and writer-producer Stella Chiu-Freund.
Felix specializes in print design but has also been involved in a number of exhibit design projects. Aside from designing books and other publications, he also paints and has illustrated 19 children’s books for local and foreign publishers.
